Ariana Grande has marked the first anniversary of the bombing outside her Manchester concert.
“Thinking of you all today and every day,” the singer tweeted. “I love you with all of me and am sending you all of the light and warmth I have to offer on this challenging day.”
On May 22, 2017, a suicide bomber detonated an explosive device outside the arena where Grande was performing, killing 22 and wounding many others.
In a recent interview with Time, Grande said the incident is “still very painful” for her.
“There are so many people who have suffered such loss and pain. The processing part is going to take forever.
“I don’t want to give it that much power,” she said. “Something so negative. It’s the absolute worst of humanity.”
