Ariana Grande made her Coachella debut Sunday night with a little help from members of a boy band whose debut album came out when she was just four years old.
“I’ve been rehearsing my entire motherf**king life for this moment,” Grande told the crowd, before introducing four of the five members of NSYNC.
Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick joined the pop star on stage for a performance of their hit “Tearin’ Up My Heart.”

The not-so-surprise collaboration happened right after Grande performed “Break Up With Your Girlfriend,” which samples NSYNC’s “It Makes Me Ill.”

Also coming out on stage during Grande’s set were Nicki Minaj (to join her on their collaborations “Side to Side” and “Bang Bang”) and P Diddy and Mase (for The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Mo Money Mo Problems”).
Grande first of two Coachella appearances – she’ll be back this weekend – was plagued by sound issues, according to reports. She is the youngest artist to headline the popular California festival.
