Arkells are set to cross Canada this fall for The Big Feelings Tour.
The Hamilton, ON rockers will launch the tour in Halifax, NS on October 18, followed by Moncton, NB the following night, then head back home to Ontario for shows in Kingston, Ottawa and London. After that they go west to play Saskatoon, SK, Alberta for shows at the beginning of November in Edmonton and Calgary, and three shows in BC - Kelowna, Vancouver and Victoria. Then it's back to Ontario to play Oshawa, Barrie and Kitchener.
The band have lined up opening acts for each leg of the tour: Joel Plaskett Emergency (Halifax, Moncton), Poolside (Kingston, Ottawa, London, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary), K.Flay and TBC (Kelowna, Vancouver, Victoria), and finally Valley (Oshawa, Barrie, Kitchener).
On socials they teased the tour, writing, "We’re bringing the BIG FEELINGS tour to you this fall, so get ready to let them all out together. Let’s goooo 💐!"

Before they embark on that tour, Arkells will host the Doubleheader Weekend, a two-day event over the June 21/22 weekend at Budweiser Stage in Toronto, ON featuring support from Tegan and Sara and Grouplove. They will also play Winnipeg, MB's Burt Block Party with July Talk, The Blue Stones and more on August 23.
Of course, before any of these shows happen, on May 17 the band will drop a new album of covers they're calling Disco Loadout Vol. 1, featuring their spin on classics by Bruce Springsteen, ABBA, Dolly Parton, Robyn and Hall & Oates.
