Aaron Carter remained on the defensive Sunday after being attacked on stage two nights earlier.
The pop star was performing Friday at the Loony Bin in Bradley, Illinois when one of the members of opening act ILL State reportedly started taking mobile phones from audience members.
As security removed the musician, who is Hispanic, Carter said: “Bye Felipe!” — a take on “Bye Felicia.”
According to video posted by TMZ, the musician came back and attacked Carter.
On Twitter, the singer said he was punched twice and treated at hospital. He told fans that if the suspect doesn’t apologize publicly, he will file a criminal assault charge.
