Avril Lavigne, who was born and raised in Ontario, knows first-hand how cold it is outside at Christmas time.
So, it’s fitting that the singer recorded the holiday classic “Baby It’s Cold Outside” for the soundtrack to a TV movie.
Lavigne, 33, covered the 1944 song with Jonny Blu, the U.S.-born singer who’s a big star in China. Their version of “Baby It’s Cold Outside” is available now on iTunes and will be featured during the broadcast of Switched At Christmas on U.S. cable channel Hallmark.
The song has been recorded by dozens of big name artists, as well as Canadians like Virginia to Vegas with Alyssa Reid and Michael Bublé (with Idina Menzel).
