Singer-songwriter BØRNS on Tuesday addressed recent allegations of sexual misconduct from several women on social media.
The 26-year-old, whose real name is Garrett Clark Borns, fired back in a statement on Instagram.
“I am both hurt and angered over the disturbing and false allegations that have been spread over the past few days on social media,” he wrote. “All of the relationships I have had were legal and consensual. They ended abruptly and that obviously caused hurt feelings, but for anyone to suggest anything beyond that is irresponsible.”
Borns has not been charged with a criminal offence.

At least three women have shared alleged experiences with Borns on Twitter, including one who accused him of taking advantage of her while she was intoxicated.
Another claimed: “He got me drunk, started touching me, and we went into his bedroom. The things he did were things I did not want, and it hurt. He was aggressive and controlling and I was so f**king scared of him.”
After Borns posted his statement on Instagram, that accuser tweeted that his lack of an apology “hurts more than anything you’ve ever done.”
