Before the Backstreet Boys settle down in Las Vegas for their 18-date Larger Than Life residency at Planet Hollywood starting March 2017, the legendary boy band of the ‘90s appeared on the Honda Stage at the iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles to give fans a preview of their Sin City takeover.
Nick Carter, A.J. McLean, Kevin Richardson, Brian Littrell, and Howie Dorough launched the night with a high-octane performance of their 2000 hit, "The Calling," that quickly segued into the Carter and McLean-driven "Incomplete." Their set immediately unfolded into karaoke night when the audience recited every lyric to their stripped-down rendition of the BSB classics, "Show Me The Meaning" and "All I Have To Give.”
During "Get Another Boyfriend," the boys scanned the audience and appropriately picked out The Bachelors' Becca Tilley and Ashley Iaconetti for a crowd-pleasing serenade.
Not a single seat in the house was used -- or so it appeared -- as the crowd danced and assisted the boys with their live performance of the very familiar hits "As Long As You Love Me," "We've Got It Going On," "I Want It That Way," "Everybody," and the dance-heavy finale "Larger Than Life.”

The group's hour-long spectacular was split with Q&A segments hosted by KIIS FM's JoJo Wright, who asked BSB a series of questions regarding their residency -- which they hyped as "infinity" times better than any past Backstreet show. When asked to confirm (or deny) rumours of a 10th album, they collectively answered, "Truth."
BSB took the Honda Stage to stoke excitement for their Larger Than Life concert series -- named after their 1999 hit -- at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino’s the Axis Theater. Their residency, which succeeds Britney Spears’ Piece of Me show, kicks off March 1 and will scatter 17 additional dates until their finale on Canada Day.
BSB’s L.A. appearance also follows their surprise performance at the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Sept. 24, during which the pop collective joined Florida Georgia Line for a duet of “Everybody” before taking over the stage with their own setlist.
