Bad Bunny has been cast as a toy in the upcoming film Toy Story 5.
The 32-year-old Latin superstar (real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) joins the Toy Story franchise as Pizza with Sunglasses, who is essentially a toy slice of pizza wearing sunglasses.
In a press release, Disney confirmed Bad Bunny makes a voice cameo in the film, and described the character as, “effortlessly cool and mysterious, Pizza with Sunglasses is a member of a small but mighty community of forgotten toys that live in an abandoned backyard shed.”
For the film, Disney has partnered with pizza brand Papa Johns for “a global collaboration inspired by the all-new movie and the universal language of great pizza.” However, no word has been given if that involves Pizza with Sunglasses in any way.
Bad Bunny adds Toy Story 5 to his growing CV of film appearances. Last year he played a ruthless gangster in the crime-thriller Caught Stealing, and a loyal caddie in Happy Gilmore 2.
Up next he will star alongside Javier Bardem and Edward Norton in the historical drama Porto Rico.
Toy Story 5 opens in theatres on June 19.
