Reggaeton star Bad Bunny has tested positive for COVID-19.
The singer’s publicist Sujeylee Solá confirmed the diagnosis to The Associated Press and said the 26-year-old, whose real name is Benito Ocasio, is not suffering any major symptoms. No further information was provided.
Bad Bunny was scheduled to perform his hit “Dákiti” with Jhay Cortez on Sunday’s American Music Awards but instead appeared only via video to announce the winner of Favourite Female Artist - Latin.
The singer was named Favourite Male Artist - Latin at the AMAs and won Favourite Album - Latin for YHLQMDLG.
