Barenaked Ladies announced Tuesday they are releasing a new album called Fake Nudes.
The Canadian band will hit the road to support the Nov. 17 release, which includes the lead single “Bringing it Home.”
Fake Nudes is the first studio album from Ed Robertson, Jim Creeggan, Kevin Hearn and Tyler Stewart since 2015’s Silverball. (This past April, they released Ladies and Gentlemen: Barenaked Ladies and The Persuasions, a collaboration with a cappella group The Persuasions.)
“I'm incredibly proud of this collection of songs,” Robertson said, in a release. “This is a record where all band members shine. It's incredible to feel so excited about something 29 years into our career.
“I'm excited to get out and play these songs live.”
Barenaked Ladies will launch the album with shows at Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom on Nov. 17 and 18, followed by stops in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario. Tickets go on sale Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. local time and every ticket includes a digital copy of Fake Nudes.
