Dallon Weekes confirmed on Thursday that he has parted ways with Panic! At The Disco.
“For the last eight years I've had the incredible opportunity to perform in Panic! At The Disco,” he wrote on Instagram. “I’m sad to announce that my time with Panic! has come to an end.”
Weekes, 36, said he will focus on his other music project, I Don’t Know How But They Found Me.
“I’m grateful for the chance I’ve had to be part of Panic! At The Disco for nearly a decade. I will always consider myself indebted to those who made me feel welcome to be a part of P!ATD. You changed my life. Thank you all.”
Weekes was bassist, keyboardist and backing vocalist with P!ATD and is credited with co-writing most of the 2013 album Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! He was noticeably absent from the 2016 Grammy-nominated P!ATD album Death of a Bachelor.
