Bebe Rexha has slammed rapper G-Eazy on Instagram, calling him an "ungrateful loser" after she was approached by his team to promote their 2015 hit “Me, Myself & I,” which recently went viral.
Rexha shared a screenshot of a text message she received about shooting some social content with the rapper to promote the song. Despite collaborating on two tracks together, including Rexha's 2017 song "F.F.F. (F--k Fake Friends)," Rexha has since soured on their relationship, calling him out for bad behaviour in a now-deleted Instagram story on June 13.
"@geazy you have my number," Rexha wrote. "Why don't you text me and ask me yourself you stuck up ungrateful loser."
"You're lucky people are liking you again. Cause I could go in on all the s**tty things you've done and how you treated me after giving you your only real hit."
"Btw the answer is no," Rexha ended with. "Hope you good."
Rexha followed it up with a tweet, defending what she said on Instagram, but admitting it came off as "negative and toxic."
"Someone from my team had me take down my Instagram story," she wrote. "I decided to remove it because it felt very negative and toxic. Sometimes trauma can lead us to react that way, and that period of my life was traumatizing. I am writing this because I regret taking it down and I want to say that I still stand by what I said."
G-Eazy has yet to comment on Rexha's posts.
