Singer-actor Ben Platt revealed Sunday he had COVID-19 earlier this year.
In a tweet he later deleted, the 27-year-old recalled “it was like an awful flu that lingered for 3 weeks or so” and added: “thankfully made a full recovery. so many haven’t been as lucky and will continue not to be. #WearAMask.”
Platt urged his followers to “keep distancing and masking!”
Best known for his Tony-winning performance in Dear Evan Hansen and his role in the Pitch Perfect movies, Platt released the album Sing to Me Instead last year. He currently stars in the streaming series The Politician.
