Taylor Swift rolled out the red carpet for the premiere of her new concert film, Eras Tour, last night in Los Angeles. Among the star-studded crowd was fellow global superstar, Beyoncé.
Swift posted her gratitude for Bey making the apperance, posting on Instagram, "I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without @beyonce‘s influence. The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility. She’s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale. "
Other stars in attendance included Adam Sandler, Simu Liu, Maren Morris, Hayley Kiyoko and Julia Garner, as well as the cast and crew of the film.
Before the premiere screening, Swift addressed the audience in a three-minute speech, saying, “I’ve always had fun doing this. I can’t believe I get to do music as a career — that’s crazy. I’ve never had this much fun in my life as I have had on the ‘Eras Tour.’ It is far and away just the most electric experience of my life.” Watch it in full below.
Swift also announced that due to “unprecedented demand," the Eras Tour film will debut one day early, with additional tickets going on sale at 10 AM EST on Thursday (October 12) for screenings starting at 6 PM in this evening.
