Beyonce Joins LiveAction The Lion King

The Lion King has found his queen.

Beyoncé is officially part of the cast of the forthcoming live-action Lion King movie, Disney announced on Wednesday.

The pop superstar will voice lioness Nala, love interest of Simba (played by Donald Glover).

The cast also includes Canada’s Seth Rogen as Pumbaa.

“It is a director’s dream to assemble a talented team like this to bring this classic story to life,” director Jon Favreau said, in a statement. The film is set for release in 2019.
