Beyoncé is not a fan of President Donald Trump's latest move. On Wednesday (Feb. 22), Trump repealed protections that President Obama established last year that allowed transgender students to use bathrooms matching their gender identity.
The president's administration even sent notices to United States schools that made them aware of the change. Almost immediately afterward, Americans blasted Trump for this controversial law. One very noticeable person who doesn't agree with the new commander-in-chief's move is Beyoncé.
The superstar took to her Facebook to show her support for the transgender students who are affected by this repeal. “LGBTQ students need to know we support them. Share your support to #protecttransyouth at glsen.org/100days & put #KindnessInAction GLSEN…” Bey posted on her page. Then, she added a link to the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network's site.
