Beyoncé has revealed what we think is the final tracklist for her new album, act ii: Cowboy Carter.
We are just days away from hearing Bey's highly-anticipated new album (out March 29) and today she posted some artwork to her socials with an official list of songs.
Along with previously released #1 country song "TEXAS HOLD 'EM" and "16 Carriages" are covers of The Beatles' "Black Bird," Linda Martell's "The Linda Martell Show" and Dolly Parton's "Jolene."
Update: after Cowboy Carter's international release in the Australasian markets, we can now confirm that the album includes collaborations with Willie Nelson on "Smoke Hour," Miley Cyrus on “II Most Wanted," Post Malone on “Levii’s Jeans” and Shaboozey on “Spaghettii."
Last week, Beyoncé posted a statement about her decision to "go country," saying the decision came from feeling unwelcome in the world of country music.
"Because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of country music and studied our rich musical archive," she wrote. "It feels good to see how music can unite so many people around the world, while also amplifying the voices of some of the people who have dedicated so much of their lives educating on our musical history."
This coming Monday (April 1), Beyoncé will be honoured at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards with the Innovator Award, presented to artists for their contribution to popular culture.
