There is no bigger story in music right now than the Drake-Kendrick Lamar beef. And capitalizing on its hot-buttonness is the Joe Biden 2024 Presidential campaign.
Based on one of their most recent campaign attacks, Biden seems to be attempting to tap into the zeitgeist by positioning his "beef" with his opponent in the presidential, Donald Trump, as a kindred battle.
The other day, the official Biden-Harris HQ social account posted a video in which they use Kendrick Lamar's recent Drake diss track "Euphoria" to taunt his political rival, Trump.
The video uses screenshots of Trump and Lamar's lyrics to criticize the Republican leader's controversial takes on women's rights and immigration, while firing shots at his attire and social media attacks.
It is pretty cringe-y to see the Democratic Party try and appeal to younger voters, but good on them for at least paying attention to what people care about right now.
