With their fifth album, Afraid of Heights, out last summer, Billy Talent has new material to showcase.
The Canadian band will be playing 12 dates beginning Feb. 16 in Abbotsford, BC, and stopping in the major Canadian cities, before ending up in Halifax.
Monster Truck and the Dirty Nil will be part of the tour as openers.
One dollar from every ticket sold on the cross-Canada tour will go to the non-profit group MusiCounts, which provides schools with musical instruments, and F.U.MS, which supports youths affected by multiple sclerosis.
