Chris Robinson and Rich Robinson of the Black Crowes announced Monday they will mark the 30th anniversary of their debut album next year by going on tour.
Shake Your Money Maker was released on February 13, 1990 and spawned hit singles “Hard to Handle” and “She Talks to Angels.” The album reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart.
The Black Crowes put out seven more albums but split in 2015. They haven’t performed live since 2013.
The 46-date reunion tour will launch June 17 in Austin, Texas and run until Sept. 19 in Los Angeles. Only one Canadian stop is scheduled – July 28 at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage.
Backing the Robinsons on tour will be guitarist Isiah Mitchell, bassist Tim LeFebvre, keyboardist Joel Robinow and drummer Raj Ojha.
