Blake Shelton poked some fun at his relationship with Gwen Stefani during an appearance Monday on Today.
With the couple’s fellow The Voice judges, Alicia Keys and Adam Levine, looking on, Carson Daly asked Shelton if the hype about their love has died down yet.
"God, I hope so!" the country star said.
“I don't think it's mellowed out, really. I think we don't pay as much attention anymore. We're numb to it."
Shelton then spoke about some of the craziest rumours he's seen written about he and Stefani.
"Any time you see a story about us, it's either that it's a fake relationship or that we're already married. Or we're gonna get married, or she's on her second set of twins," he said.
"Or, you know, I'm sneaking behind her back to eat meat. I eat meat right in front of her face!”
Then, Shelton admitted he can kind of see why people are so fascinated with their relationship.
"In people's defense, I think it's so hard for people to wrap their head around why Gwen would want to be with me," said Shelton. "I don't blame ‘em."
Stefani weighed in: "You're crazy, you're crazy!"
