Blink-182 announced late Thursday that they are scrapping two of their Las Vegas residency shows due to drummer Travis Barker’s medical issue.
“Friends, Travis Barker is suffering from blood clots in both arms and unfortunately cannot perform until cleared to do so by his medical team,” read a statement from the band, which kicked off the Vegas residency last month.
Shows on Friday and Saturday at the Palms Hotel and Casino will be rescheduled.
“The situation is currently being closely monitored.”
The statement also quoted Barker, 42, as saying: “Drumming is my life and It kills that i can’t perform for you guys this weekend. I hope to be back as soon as I can.”
Blink-182’s next scheduled shows are June 23 and 24.
