Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band have pulled the plug on the rest of their Runaway Train Tour so the 72-year-old singer can undergo medical treatment.
“I'm so disappointed to have to suspend the tour as the band is on a great roll,” Seger said in a message on his website. “It's a privilege to play for our amazing fans. Hoping to be back out on the road very soon.”
While no specifics were provided, the medical issue reportedly involves Seger’s back.
A Sept. 30 show was postponed prior to Tuesday’s announcement that the 19 remaining dates — from Oct. 5 in Greenville, SC to Nov. 17 in Chicago — are also on hold.
