Brett Eldredge is getting royal inspiration on his new album.
The country star has revealed he’s trading the dark, cold recording studio for a literal castle to record his next project.
“There’s a studio in Nashville called The Castle and it’s a great studio,” Brett recently told reporters in Nashville. “I wish it was a real castle... it’s been an amazing experience.”
The “Somethin’ I’m Good At” singer adds he and producer Ross Copperman were tired of “recording in the same places” and were inspired to “go somewhere different.”
“[It was] like ‘who doesn’t want to record at The Castle?’” Brett said. “It’s a legendary studio... it’s a great studio, a lot of history to it. It makes you want to record great music and that’s what we’ve been doing. It’s been a really special experience.”
No official word on a release date for Brett’s third studio album.
