Could it be that Britney Spears gets star-struck?
On Wednesday, the pop superstar shared a photo of her posing with Mariah Carey.
“You never know who you’re going to meet at dinner parties!!,” Spears tweeted. “Great night! So much fun.”
She also thanked publicist friend Cade Hudson.
The photo was eerily similar to one the two singers posed for in 1999 — in which Spears leaned in to Carey with a big smile.
Last year, Carey said “I love Britney Spears!” during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
The celeb snapshot had some fans in a tizzy and calling for a collaboration.
Others were just excited to see the two divas in one pic. “QUEENS OF POP. I am shook. I can honestly die now,” tweeted one fan.
“That’s just too iconic,” another wrote.
One fan called it “two people that could literally stand there in silence and I'll still fan girl like an idiot.”
