Britney Spears this week shared some advice for people who feel it’s necessary to leave nasty comments on social media posts.
“If you don’t like a post … just keep it to yourself and unfollow that person,” the “Toxic” singer suggested. “There’s no reason to ever go out of your way to make mean comments and bully people.”
Spears posted a video clip in which she showcased her Christmas tree – and herself – backed by Michael Bublé’s recording of “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.”
She captioned it: “I love sharing with you all … but it’s been hard to keep wanting to share because people say the meanest things !!!”
Spears urged people to “stay happy and nice this holiday season.”
