Bruce Springsteen is extending his one-man show Springsteen on Broadway until the end of June.
The hit show, which opened in October at the 960-seat Walter Kerr Theatre, features nearly two hours of the music icon performing his songs on piano or guitar and sharing stories from his life.
Springsteen’s wife Patti Scialfa joins him on stage for a few songs.
"My vision of these shows is to make them as personal and intimate as possible," Springsteen said in a statement. "Some of the show is spoken, some of it is sung, all of it together is in pursuit of my constant goal – to communicate something of value."
The extension means new shows are scheduled between Feb. 28 and June 30.
According to reports, Springsteen on Broadway has grossed about $2.5 million U.S. per week since opening.
