Bruno Mars is looking for a new career – and he has reached out to Rihanna to give him the boost he needs.
The singer, who hasn’t released an album since 2016’s 24K Magic, took to Twitter on Monday to update his 43 million followers.
“Sometimes I get so frustrated writing music I look in the mirror and say to myself ‘I should’ve been a model,” he wrote, adding a frown-face emoji.
Mars then tweeted at Rihanna: “I’d like to submit some of my headshots for your Fenty Skin Campaign. I just took some new ones that I’m really proud of.”
As of Tuesday morning, Rihanna had not responded.
The 34-year-old is probably best to stick to music – at only 5’5”, he is at least six inches shorter than the average male model. Still, he has some experience. Mars showcased Bench clothing with model Joan Smalls in a 2011 issue of Vogue.

Yo @rihanna I’d like to submit some of my headshots for your Fenty Skin Campaign. I just took some new ones that I’m really proud of.
