Bruno Mars announced Sunday he is providing meals to 24,000 residents in need in his native Hawaii this U.S. Thanksgiving.
The singer, who performed the last of three concerts in Honolulu on Sunday night, donated to the Salvation Army’s Hawaiian and Pacific Islands Division, which runs a Thanksgiving meal program.
Ahead of last Thursday’s show, Mars wrote on Instagram: “Let’s have a good time tonight Hawaii! Most importantly, let’s show love and aloha to everyone driving down and attending the concert. I’ve missed you all and I can’t wait to perform and sing on the island I call home.”
Mars kicked off his 24K Magic Tour in March 2017. It wraps up officially on New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas.
