BTS is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the release of digital single “Take Two” on June 9.
“The song conveys their appreciation toward ARMY for all the love you shower them with and their desire to always be together with you,” reads a release from Big Hit Entertainment. “We sincerely express our gratitude to ARMY for making the 10th anniversary possible with your endless love for BTS.”
The song was co-written by RM and J-Hope and co-produced by Suga.
“Take Two” follows “The Planet,” a song BTS released earlier this month from the soundtrack of the animated series Bastions.
Members of the K-pop group announced in June 2022 that they are taking a break to focus on solo projects. Jin and J-Hope are currently doing their mandatory military service. Big Hit Music has said it and “the members of BTS are looking forward to reconvening as a group again around 2025 following their service commitment.”
