The biggest boy band in the world is adding its voice to the chorus of outrage following the death of George Floyd, who was held down by four Minneapolis police officers last week.
“We stand against racial discrimination. We condemn violence,” read a tweet from BTS early Thursday.
“You, I and we all have the right to be respected. We will stand together.”
The tweet included the hashtag “#blacklivesmatter.”
On Wednesday, K-Pop fans deluged Twitter with fancams and memes using the hashtag “#whitelivesmatter” to drown out racist tweets.
