Camila Cabello discovered something on New Year’s Eve that guys have known about for a long time – hand warmers aren’t just for inside your gloves.

“I put them right here,” she said, pointing to her crotch area, during an appearance on Ellen. “It was great, and I don’t know why but it was great.”

It was brutally cold – “there was a negative 100-degree windchill,” Cabello exagerrated – when the Miami-raised singer performed her hit “Havana” in New York City’s Times Square.

“I had hand warmers and I put them… I was wearing two layers of clothing, three layers of clothing… so I put them everywhere,” she recalled.

Cabello later specified exactly where one of the hand warmers was working its magic.

“I put it like right above my underwear, but underneath my pants,” she said. “It was great.”

Cabello said she may have started a winter fashion trend.

“Maybe that will be the new thing that everybody does, wear warmers down there.”
