Camila Cabello’s Romance Tour, which was scheduled to kick off in Vancouver on July 29, has been postponed due to COVID-19.
The pop star was also set to bring her show to Toronto on Sept. 4 and Laval on Sept. 12.
“I’m truly heartbroken,” Cabello said in a message she shared late Tuesday on social media. “We can’t start rehearsals without putting people at risk and with so much up in the air with no real and definitive end in sight, I feel this is the responsible thing to do.”

Cabello, who faced reports of slow ticket sales, promised information about a rescheduled tour will come.
“I’m so sorry you guys. I’m so sad at the thought of disappointing you,” she wrote. “I was so excited to see you and hug you in person and sing these songs with you.”
Cabello, who is spending time at home in Miami with Shawn Mendes, said she hopes her fans are “both physically and mentally healthy.” She added: “Be gentle and loving and kind to yourself, let’s be compassionate and take care of ourselves and each other. When the danger passes, all this love that we are putting into the world will heal us.”
