Canada’s Céline Dion has again been named one of “America’s Richest Self-Made Women” on a list that includes seven other music stars.
The Quebec-born singer is No. 51 on the Forbes list, which ranks “the country’s most successful women entrepreneurs and executives,” with an estimated net worth of $455 million (all figures U.S.).
According to Forbes, Dion’s net worth has risen slightly from $450 million last year. The Nevada resident “earned the bulk of her overall fortune from Las Vegas residences” and got a boost from her recent Courage World Tour.
The richest self-made woman from the world of music is Rihanna, who ranks 33rd with $600 million. The pop star has made a fortune from her Savage Beauty and Savage x Fenty collections.
Madonna is No. 40 with $550 million, followed by Beyoncé (No. 55) with $420 million and Barbra Streisand (No. 56) with $400 million. Taylor Swift is ranked 62nd with an estimated net worth of $365 million.
Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez are tied at No. 97 with $150 million each.
