Canada’s Lennon Stella lends her voice to “Takeaway,” a new track from The Chainsmokers and Illenium.
On Wednesday, Stella tweeted: "holy holy holy, SO STOKED THIS IS OUT IN THE WORLD!!!! hope you guys love it like we do!!!!"
The song’s video, directed by Jeremiah Davis at New York City’s The Vessel at Hudson Yards, also debuted Wednesday.
In a release, The Chainsmokers said they felt luck to be one of the first artists to create a music video at the new landmark.
“We also had to run up a ton of stairs in this video all day,” they added, “so we hope people appreciate that.”
“Takeaway” comes shortly after the release of “Call You Mine” featuring Bebe Rexha and will also be included on The Chainsmokers’ album World War Joy – along with previously released singles “Do You Mean” ft. Ty Dolla $ign and bülow, “Kills You Slowly” and “Who Do You Love” ft. 5 Seconds of Summer.
Lennon Stella is one of the openers for The Chainsmokers on their upcoming tour, which includes shows in Toronto on Oct. 8, Montreal on Oct. 9, and Vancouver on Dec. 6.
