Canadian music stars have signed on to Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble, a 90-minute special in support of frontline workers and food banks delivering services to those impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.
Céline Dion, Michael Bublé, Bryan Adams, Shania Twain, Sarah McLachlan, Jann Arden and Alessia Cara will make appearances from their homes.
The line-up also includes Arkells, Barenaked Ladies, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Marie-Mai, and others to be announced.
Celebrities participating include comics Russell Peters, Howie Mandel and Rick Mercer; homegrown actors Eric McCormack, Will Arnett and Jason Priestley; and athletes like Connor McDavid, Penny Oleksiak, Bianca Andreescu and Tessa Virtue.
The special will air April 26 at 6:30 pm on all of Canada’s major networks.
Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble will also be streamed on the iHeartRadio Canada app and right here on iHeartRadio.ca – and broadcast on Virgin Radio stations across the country.
”Frontline workers, across so many sectors including food banking, have been drastically impacted by COVID-19,” said Chris Hatch, CEO of Food Banks Canada, in a release. “They need our support.”
