Canadan singer Suzie McNeil and her husband, musician Andrew Mactaggart, are the proud parents of a baby boy!

Findlay James Mactaggart was born on Nov. 17 via Caesarean section at Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto. He weighed 7pounds, 5 ounces.

“Andrew and I are so in love with him,” McNeil told iHeartRadio.ca on Monday. “What they say really is true… I’ve never felt a love like this before.”

McNeil, 41, and her newborn are now resting at home.

It’s the first child for McNeil and Mactaggart, who were married in June 2014. The couple are part of the group Loving Mary and perform regularly as the backing band for Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler.

Juno-nominated McNeil rose to fame in Canada with singles like “Believe” and “Supergirl” after becoming a finalist on the reality show Rockstar: INXS. She also starred in the Toronto production of the Queen musical We Will Rock You.

McNeil and Mactaggart said they wrote a song for their new son. It's aptly titled "Christmas Came Early."
