Cardi B and Offset are no more... again.
Over the weekend, Cardi confirmed the couple has split during an Instagram Live video.
"I’ve been single for a minute now,” she said. "But I have been afraid… Not afraid, I just don’t know how to tell the world. But I feel like today has been, like, a sign.”
The rapper confirmed the news after she and Offset were both spotted attending the TikTok In the Mix event in Mesa, Arizona last night (December 10), but were not seen together.
According to Page Six, the split was not caused by the rumours that the Migos member allegedly cheated on Cardi with fellow rapper, Chrisean Rock.
In the live video, Cardi also said she's been leaving clues about the break-up. "I don't know if you guys have been getting clues from me, from my Lives, or from my Stories, when I put some certain music, or find my unfollowings," she said.
She added that she hopes to start “fresh” and “open” in the new year, and that she is "curious for a new life, for a new beginning. And yeah… I’m excited.”
The couple have been married for five years, and share two children - daughter Kulture, 5, and son Wave, 2.
They reportedly first started dating in early 2017, and married in September of that year, despite months of denying they were in a relationship. Cardi originally filed for divorce in 2020, but they eventually reconciled. Both sides have accused each other of cheating. (You can read a handy timeline of their whole history here.)
