Carrie Underwood took a hard fall on the steps outside her Nashville home on Friday.
The country singer was treated in hospital after suffering some cuts and breaking her wrist, according to a statement from her team.
Due to the incident, Underwood was unable to attend the Country Rising benefit concert – raising funds for Las Vegas shooting victims and hurricane relief – where she was to perform Sunday night in Nashville.
Other artists on the line-up include George Strait, Little Big Town, Jason Aldean, Chris Stapleton, Sam Hunt, Dierks Bentley, Martina McBride, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban and Reba McEntire.
Underwood’s husband, Canadian NHL player Mike Fisher, flew to be by her side after hearing the news. The singer has been released from hospital to recover at home.
