Céline Dion revealed on Wednesday that she is about to release new music.
The Canadian chanteuse, who recently celebrated her 50th birthday, shared the news on Instagram.
“!!New music alert!! Check it out - May 3,” read the message.
Dion put out Encore un soir in 2016 but hasn’t released an English album since 2013’s Loved Me Back to Life. In 2016, she dropped a single – her cover of Queen’s “The Show Must Go On” – but it failed to take off.
Last summer, during a promotional appearance in Montreal, the singer said she was “very, very excited” about putting out a new English album.
“That’s going to be released in 2018, probably during the fall, could be sooner, I hope,” Dion told reporters.
Dion returns to the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on May 22 for 12 more performances before heading to Tokyo on June 26 to kick off a tour of Asia and Australia.
