Céline Dion is the reigning queen of Las Vegas but she discovered this summer that it also pays to hit the road.
The 48-year-old singer’s 28 concerts from June to August grossed more than $64 million (all figures Canadian).
According to the Billboard Boxscore, Dion’s 10 sold-out shows at Montreal’s Bell Centre and five sellouts at Videotron Centre in Quebec City earned a combined $33.3 million. She also performed two concerts in Trois-Rivières.
Dion, who performed for an estimated 215,000 fans in her native province, told reporters in Montreal that she was “ecstatic to be home.”
The singer also did nine sold-out concerts in Paris and two in Antwerp, Belgium in June and July.
Billboard ranked Dion one of the hottest touring acts of the summer.
The chanteuse from Charlemagne, Quebec wasn’t the only Canadian to find riches on the road, though.
Drake, Shawn Mendes, Neil Young, and Bryan Adams all made the Boxscore top 35 list this summer — as did Quebec singer Marc Dupré, whose two sold-out shows at the Bell Centre in June raked in a little under $1 million.
Justin Bieber also cashed out by bringing his tour home to Canada. The Ontario-born pop star grossed nearly $9 million from five shows in Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, and Ottawa.
