Chance The Rapper wrapped up 2018 by revealing that he saved a man from a burning car last April.
In a look back at highlights from last year that he shared on Instagram, Chance said: “I never told this to the world but my friends can merch. I saved a persons by myself on Easter Sunday this year omw to church.”
He recalled seeing a car slam into a wall after going “like 90 mph comin off the exit” in Chicago.
“I was the only person out there when it first happened and his car was on fire so I had to break his window take off his seatbelt let his seat back and pull a whole grown man out the car unconscious.”
Chance said he has wondered about the man’s fate ever since.
Shortly after sharing the story on Instagram, Chance tweeted that the victim’s nephew DM’ed him “saying it was his uncle and that he lived!!”
