Charli XCX is set to star and produce a new movie from A24 based on her original idea.
The Moment will be the first project under the Brat hitmaker's new production company, Studio365, according to Variety.
While no synopsis has been revealed for The Moment yet, the film will directed by photographer and filmmaker Aidan Zamiri, who also wrote the screenplay along with Bertie Brandes.
Fans of Charli XCX should be thrilled to learn that the film's original score will be composed by her longtime collaborator A. G. Cook, who has producing credits on Charli, how i'm feeling now and last year's Brat.
The Moment is just one of many films Charli has on the go at the moment. She will also be appearing in A24's forthcoming drama Mother Mary, starring Anne Hathaway and Hunter Schafer, as well as Gregg Araki’s drama I Want Your Sex, a remake of the 1978 mondo horror Faces of Death, and Romain Gavras' comedy Sacrifice.
