The widow of Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington wants his fans to mark his birthday by showing support for mental health awareness.

Talinda Bennington tweeted an appeal on Wednesday for March 20, which would have been her husband’s 42nd birthday.

“Post a pic holding up your hand, which symbolizes you know the 5 signs of emotional well-being,” she wrote. “Write ‘I AM THE CHANGE’ on your hand.”

Those five signs are: Take care, check in, engage, relax and know.

Talinda has been a vocal advocate for mental health – she launched the 320 Changes Direction initiative – since Chester Bennington took his own life last July.
