An image of the statue to commemorate rock singer Chris Cornell – scheduled to be unveiled at the Seattle Museum of Pop Culture on Aug. 29 – was shared by TMZ on Friday.
The bronze statue of the iconic Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog frontman was created by artist Nick Marra.
Cornell's widow Vicky Cornell financed the project as her gift to "the tight-knit community that gave him his start," she said.
Cornell died in Detroit on May 18, 2017 of an apparent suicide in his hotel room.
