Miley Cyrus, Adam Levine, Metallica and Foo Fighters were among the acts who performed Wednesday night at I Am the Highway: A Tribute to Chris Cornell.
The concert, which ran nearly five hours, raised more than $1 million U.S. for the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation and the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation.
Cyrus belted out “As Hope and Promise Fade” and “Say Hello 2 Heaven” and Levine, accompanied by Pearl Jam’s Stone Gossard, did “Seasons.”
Foo Fighters covered Soundgarden’s “No Attention” and Metallica rocked versions of “All Your Lies” and “Head Injury.” Ryan Adams performed Soundgarden’s “Fell on Black Days” and Cornell’s “Dead Wishes.”

Members of Audioslave played five songs with different singers – Perry Farrell, Juliette Lewis, Tim McIlrath from Rise Against, Brandi Carlile, and Dave Grohl.
For the first time since Cornell’s death in May 2017, Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil, Ben Shepherd and Matt Cameron performed together – with vocal help from Taylor Momsen, Taylor Hawkins, Brandi Carlile and Peter Frampton.
One of the most emotional moments of the night came when Cornell’s 14-year-old daughter Toni sang Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song” with Ziggy Marley. His other daughter, Lillian, came on stage to say a few words.
The tribute was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and featured A-list guests like Brad Pitt, Josh Brolin, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale and Tom Hanks (whose wife Rita Wilson performed “The Promise”).
