Ciara has a lot of news to share this week.
The 33-year-old singer announced that she has invested in a pro soccer team and that she’s planning to launch a line of makeup and skin care products.
Ciara and her husband, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, have become part owners of the MLS team Seattle Sounders, along with Macklemore.
“A Day I’ll Always Cherish!,” she wrote on Instagram along with a photo of her family sporting Sounders uniforms. “We can’t wait for our kids to grow up loving Soccer! Family is everything! Football and Futbol is Family!”
In another post, in which she shared a clip of two-year-old daughter Sienna scoring a goal on the soccer pitch, Ciara wrote: “You will be able to do anything you put your mind to if you simply believe! Never walk in a room thinking of what you can’t do because of your gender! If you think it, it’s possible. If you dream it, it’s possible. If you believe it, it’s possible. It’s that simple.
“There’s only a small handful of female owners of any Major League Sports team, and I’m proud to be one of them! You are next Baby Girl!”
Meanwhile, during a panel discussion at Beautycon L.A., Ciara revealed she’s working on a signature collection.
“The beauty space is inevitable for me,” she said, according to Us Weekly. “It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to do something in the beauty space, and there are lots of cool things that I’ve been cooking up and working on, and I can’t wait until the time is here to share it with the world.”
Ciara, whose latest album is Beauty Marks, performs a free concert on Saturday night at Montreal Pride.
