Rapper Classified and pop duo Neon Dreams are among the nominees announced Monday for the 2019 East Coast Music Awards.
Classified, from Enfield, NS, leads with seven noms, including Album of the Year and Rap/Hip-Hop Recording of the Year. Halifax-based Neon Dreams is up for four, including Pop Recording of the Year (for “Shape of my Mind”).
Nominated for five ECMAs is Fredericton-born Jeremy Dutcher, winner of the 2018 Polaris Prize.
