Corbyn Besson of pop group Why Don’t We announced Tuesday he is undergoing throat surgery.
The 19-year-old singer tweeted: “Getting a spontaneous surgery tonight, i have a huge swollen infection in my throat that’s covering a my airway making it tough to breathe.”
Besson told fans he expects to be in hospital “for a few days.”
Why Don’t We recently debuted “Talk” with a video shot during their recent European tour. It’s been viewed nearly 1.9 million times in its first three days online.
The other members of Why Don’t We took to social media to show their support for Besson.
“Praying for you brother,” tweeted Jonah Marais. “Love you so much and you know I’ll be right there the second they allow us to visit. You’ll be good.”
Jack Avery tweeted: “Praying for you brother. Love you.”
“I’m coming to see you as soon as the doctors let us,” Zach Herron promised. "love you so much man.”
Daniel Seavey tweeted: “I’ll bring ur special pillow when I come see u … love u bro.”
