Canadian music group Cold Creek County today released their sophomore EP Homemade. It features their anthemic single “Homemade”, which became the #4 most added song at Canadian Country Radio.
The band is made up of Ches Anthony, Doug Oliver, Trevor MacLeod, Josh Lester, Justin Lester and Jordan Honsinger. Lead singer Anthony was homeschooled, and taught to sing by his mom.
“My mom, if I even hit a flat note I'd basically get a ruler on the hand and an, ‘If you can't sing on key don't sing at all,’” Anthony recalls. “She pushed me really hard to at least sing on key.”
“Ches is quite a musician, vocalist and a real pro,” adds lead guitarist Trevor MacLeod. “His style is really natural and that drew us to him.”
Homemade was produced by Scott Cooke (Florida Georgia Line, Nickelback) and Doug Oliver. It’s a heady mix of dirt-kickin’ twang and incredible vocal harmonies, and this band is set to go far – literally.
